Trench 1 was located in the southern part of the site. The trench was a shovel test dug to detect or deny the presence of preserved cultural layers.
It was laid outside of what today is a plowed farmland, towards Norrjevägenl. The upper layer was removed and it returned some beaten flint but also recent materials. After about 20 centimeters it appeared a sandy layer, containing several unprocessed flint knobs, and limestone.
