	<p>Layer of soil beneath topsoil. Fairly compact, well sorted, stones and pebble sized smaller stones, inclusions of flecks of charcoal and occasional small pieces of daub.&nbsp; Dark, brownish yellow silty clay with lots of small roots.&nbsp;</p>
